This year's Apple Festival begins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16 and ends at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19 in downtown Nappanee.
Thursday, September 16 – 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.; Friday, September 17 – 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 18 – 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Sunday, September 19 – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please see our on-line brochure for specific event times.
The heart of the festival is located in downtown Nappanee with various other locations around Nappanee also holding events. Carnival rides line S. Main Street (St. Road 19 south of U.S. 6), 15 food vendors are located in the Depot Plaza located one block south of U.S. 6 and St. Rd. 19, craft vendors line North and South Clark Street (one block west of St. Rd. 19), commercial vendors are located on South Clark Street and just to the west of the Depot Plaza area. Our Wings and Wheels show on Saturday is held at the Nappanee Municipal Airport located 3 miles east of Nappanee on U.S. 6. Our Farm Tractor & Antique Farm Equipment Show and Pulls are located at the Callander Sportsplex located one mile east of downtown Nappanee on N. Oakland Street (C.R. 7).
The 7' baked Apple Pie is located in downtown Nappanee at La Fogata Mexican Restaurant on West Market Street (on U.S. 6 just ½ block west of St. Road 19). Slices of the apple pie can be purchased at La Fogata or the Napple Store for $2.25 a slice.
The cost for a 10'x10' space is $200.00 before August 1. After August 1, the cost is $250.00.

In 2009, an estimated 72,000 people attended the Nappanee Apple Festival.
No, admission is FREE! There are a few events that charge (e.g., helicopter rides, individuals who want to enter a car in the car show and the Nappanee Apple Festival Tractor and Truck Pull being held on Saturday, September 11).
All babies must live in the Wa-Nee Community School district to enter the contest.
It is held at the Nappanee Airport, 3 miles east of downtown Nappanee on U.S. 6. The show is Saturday, September 18 from noon until 5:00 p.m. (rain date — Sunday, September 19 from noon until 5:00 p.m.). No charge for parking and gate entry! This is a car and airplane show and airplane rides are free to first time flyers ages 8 to 18 (must have parental consent).
